Today nuclear weapons are at the center of international affairs. Referring to them as "WMD" we have become dangerously disconnected from understanding the real human cost of their manufacture and use. So long as some countries rely on nuclear weapons for security, all countries and all people on Earth are threatened.
Most of us choose to believe it is unrealistic to imagine a world without nuclear weapons. Most of us are apathetic and disempowered. Yet hope lives in the conviction that change is possible and individuals can bring it about.
